Automatic door replacement at BMW Berry Showroom
Aluglass Solutions completed an automatic door replacement project at BMW Berry Showroom in Brentford following damage to the existing entrance. The project involved removing the existing entrance, installing the replacement automatic door system and completing testing and commissioning on site.
Scope of works
- Removed the existing automatic door system and surrounding frame
- Installed the replacement automatic door system and glazed panels
- Wired and configured the automatic door operators
- Tested opening, closing and safety sensor operation
- Commissioned the system and completed handover checks
The starting point
The existing entrance had been damaged and required replacement. The Aluglass team attended site to remove the existing doors and prepare the entrance for the replacement automatic door system.
01Removing the existing entrance
The existing entrance was removed to make way for the replacement automatic door system.
02Installation
With the existing entrance removed, the Aluglass team installed the replacement automatic door system and carried out the necessary adjustments on site.
03The finished entrance
With the installation complete, the new automatic entrance was checked and prepared for handover.
04Tested and commissioned
Following installation, the automatic doors were tested and commissioned on site before completion.
